<Talk Session>
A question-and-answer-style talk discussion was held between Mr Kyo Hin, Representative Director of Ikuta Global Corporation, and Ms Dagbede Tchedessou Marcel, President of GANBARE-AFRIKA, a general incorporated association. In response to questions from the participants, practical advice was shared based on their own experiences.
During the discussion, questions were asked about management visas and start-up visas for residency status, and Yuko Onishi, an administrative scrivener, joined the discussion to explain specific procedures and points to note.
The speakers mainly conducted the discussion in English, which was then interpreted into Japanese by the facilitator. Participants asked, ‘What kind of subsidies are available to start a business?’ ‘What is the timeline for applying for residency status?’ How did you raise funds?’ and other specific questions were asked and answered in detail by the speakers. Participants were seen actively asking questions and taking notes on key points.
Networking with Pizza and drinks
After the learning seminar and the Q&A session, it was time for networking and pizza! International students and global talents who already had careers interacted with each other, Japanese companies, and guest speakers. Pizza, Japanese snacks, and drinks were provided.
